5. Following on from discussion with key stakeholders, we propose the removal of the Essential Skills Wales Digital Literacy qualification as apprentices operate at a higher level of digital literacy than taught on the course in their day to day work.

6. The progression information in the pathway currently reads:

Level 4: Screen and Creative Media

Progression routes into:

• Level 3 Diploma
• Level 3 Apprenticeship in Media related frameworks

Progression from:

• Employment as a Senior Developer, Senior Designer, Digital Producer, Senior Coder, Digital Copywriter and Digital Project Manager.
• Further/Higher Education - Further professional development or higher diploma or degrees

7. The level 4 route of the pathway currently has no other additional requirements, and we believe this should remain the case.

8. Currently there are no requirement to achieve a formal ERR training / qualification although a company induction is recommended.

Should this be the case going forward?

9. The current recommendation is that the level 4 route within this pathway can be completed in a minimum of 15 months.
