You must be able to:
obtain information about overall technical and format requirements from reliable sources
identify standards and format requirements for each deliverable specified
identify audio masters appropriate for projects
check that all required prior workflow has been completed in line with workflow plans
optimise sound quality and mix in audio masters
make sure mixes remain true to original visions and reflect editing decisions taken
check masters have appropriate tracks to agreed specification
check that final sound is synchronised with image to expected technical standards
meet specified requirements for different users and different deliverables
assess audio quality against expected artistic and technical standards
log and hand over work in specified formats to specified people
maintain security for files and other materials in line with legal and organisational requirements
